Support Group News

Alzheimer's Caregivers Support Group: Meets the second Monday of the month from 7 - 8:30 PM at the Andover Senior Center. This is an open group. During the winter months, please call ahead to ensure the meeting will be held. Please call Kristine Arakelian, Outreach Coordinator for further information.

Parkinson's Disease Support Group: Meets the second Thursday of the month from 1:30 - 3 PM at the Andover Senior Center. This is an open group. Please call Kristine Arakelian, Outreach Coordinator for further information.

Low Vision Support Group: Meets on the third Wednesday of the month at the Memorial Hall Library Activity Room, 6 - 7:30 PM Please call Linda Dickler, 978-681-8501, for further information.

Message Therapy

David Schwedler, owner of "Hands In Motion" massage therapy in Andover & the grandson of senior center participant, Genevieve Perry offers seated upper body chair messages, by appointment, every Monday morning at the Center. Treatments last 20 minutes & are offered at the reduced rate of $12. To learn more about the health benefits of massage, stop by and speak with David.

Upon request auxiliary aides and services will be provided to ensure effective communication and participation in Andover Elder Service programming and services as specified in the Americans with Disabilities Act.
