From board members to food servers, volunteers are an important part of the Center. A strong core of volunteers makes it possible for us to provide a wide variety of programs and services. Volunteer opportunities include:

• Friendly Visitors
• Medical Transportation
• "SHOP (Seniors Helping Other People)
• Computer Classes
• Mentoring and Pen Pals with Students
• Cultural Committee
• Meals on Wheels Drivers

Kitchen Assistants are needed Wednesdays and Thursdays. Anyone interested in sharing their expertise in the kitchen please call. Your help enables us to give seniors a wonderful lunch every day.

Friendly Visitor Program: Visit a lonely/isolaated elder once a week in a nursing home, assisted living, or private residence. Please consider making an application. We conduct a background check on every volunteer per state law, provide training, and on-going supervision.
