MEN’S OUTDOOR ADVENTURE GROUP

IPSWICH RIVER WILDLIFE SANTURARY

Hike Mass Audubon’s largest sanctuary and explore forests, meadows and wetlands. The hike will cover 2 miles over several small hills with the majority of the trails on level ground. There is a $4.00 entry fee it’s free for members of Mass Audubon. The group will car pool to Ipswich. .

PHILLIPS ACADEMY & COCHRAN WILDLIFE SANCTUARY

Tour the Phillips Academy Campus and visit the Cochran Wildlife Sanctuary. Learn the history and background of Phillips Academy. The Sanctuary contains about 65 acres of woodlands and ponds. There are several easy hills on the hike.

All of the hikes will leave the Senior Center at 9:30 a.m. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water and bug spray. Prior registration is required. If you are interested contact the Andover Senior Center at 978-623-8321 to register.
