Celebrating Life Experiences

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are a very large part of how we do what we do here at the Center.  Our volunteers help cook meals, deliver meals, assist in the Social Day Program, assist with events and drive seniors to medical appointments.  They tend our organic vegetable garden.  They teach classes and give lectures on a wide variety of subjects.  They man our front desk, greet you when you enter The Center and much, much more.  Please come in and speak with Andrea Zaimes regarding our volunteer opportunities. We have many areas that could use some wonderful people like YOU!

The SCRPT (Senior Citizen Residential Property Tax Work-Off) Program allows homeowners aged 60+ to earn a tax abatement after completing the required number of volunteer hours. Through the SCRPT Program, volunteers assist in The Center, most town departments and in all of the schools.  Applications are available only during the month of June.  To print a copy of the FY16 SCRPT Application click here.
